Geographic diversification and growing business model prompt promotions and appointments
Tampa, FL – May 11, 2018 – Minto Communities USA announces that, based on its growth projections and significant success of the company’s new Latitude Margaritaville brand, Minto has formed a new, stand-alone Latitude Margaritaville division within Minto Communities USA. Along with the new division, Minto announces a number of promotions within the company’s leadership team as well as a new appointment.
According to Minto Communities USA President Mike Belmont, “Given our geographic diversification and growing business model, a stand-alone Latitude Margaritaville division and the realignment of our dedicated professional staff are needed at this time to better manage our growth in a seamless manner.”
Minto Senior Vice President William Bullock is promoted to Latitude Margaritaville division president. He joined Minto in September 2009 as a vice president of planning and development, and was named senior vice president in June 2014. He has been responsible for much of the geographic expansion of Minto throughout Florida and, more recently, South Carolina. With a focus on the expansion of Minto’s active adult platform, Bullock was instrumental in the recent partnership with Margaritaville Holdings and the launch of the Latitude Margaritaville branded active adult communities.
Minto Vice President of Operations Steve Svopa is promoted to senior vice president. He joined Minto in April 2011, and has been responsible for all sales, construction and related activities for Minto throughout Florida. He will continue to oversee construction related activities for all of the Minto neighborhoods and Latitude Margaritaville as well as sales for the expanding Minto Communities platform.
Paul Bobik takes a new position as Latitude Margaritaville vice president of sales. His extensive senior leadership background includes positions as executive vice president of sales and marketing with Ginn Development Company, national vice president of sales and marketing for Centex Destination Properties, and executive vice president of Legacy Resorts Properties International.
Minto Senior Director of Sales Tonia Abrahamson is promoted to vice president of sales for all other Minto communities. She has been with Minto for more than 19 years in various sales and sales management roles. She now will oversee all sales management functions for Minto Communities.
Minto Director of Acquisition and Development Dutch Neuweiler is promoted to Latitude Margaritaville senior director of land development.
Scott Dambrose is promoted to Minto Communities senior director of construction and Dow Drury is promoted to Latitude Margaritaville senior director of construction.
Minto is developing Latitude Margaritaville communities in partnership with the global brand Margaritaville Holdings. The first two Latitude Margaritaville communities opened to brisk sales in Daytona Beach, Florida and Hilton Head, South Carolina with more locations to be announced. More than 125,000 prospective homebuyers have registered to date to receive ongoing information.
