Daytona Beach, FL (April 19, 2018) — LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE Daytona Beach announced today that Publix will be the anchor tenant of the active adult community’s new Latitude Landings retail center, located on LPGA Boulevard, adjacent to the new residential community, just west of Interstate 95. Development and leasing for Latitude Landings is being handled by retail partner Sutton Properties.

Comprising 48,000 square feet of the 200,000-square-foot retail development, Publix will be a valuable resource for those living at LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE Daytona Beach and the surrounding area. With an opening date slated for the second quarter of 2019, the new supermarket will include grab-and-go prepared meals, an in-store café, a large selection of organic items and a Publix liquor store. The first phase of Latitude Landings will also include space for additional retail and services. Designed to complement the carefree lifestyle at LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE Daytona Beach, Latitude Landings will be easily accessed by golf cart path directly from the residential community.

“Latitude Margaritaville is redefining active adult living,” said Minto Senior Vice President William Bullock. “Latitude Margaritaville communities are designed specifically for those who are 55-and-better seeking an active approach to life that includes fun, food and music. The new Latitude Landings shopping center will reflect this lifestyle and complement the many amenities within Latitude Margaritaville. Best of all, it will provide an adjacent  shopping convenience for our residents.”

LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE Daytona Beach revealed earlier this year nine model homes, all capturing Margaritaville’s vibe. Home designs include three distinct villa and single-family home collections – the Caribbean, Beach and Island. These include four villa home models – the Antigua, Barbuda, Jamaica and Nevis, ranging from 1,503 to 1,862 square feet under air. All include two bedrooms, den or hobby room, two baths, covered lanai and two-car garage. Villa pricing starts at $235,990. Five different single-family home models include the Coconut, Parrot, Breeze, Aruba and Trinidad.  Single-family homes range from 1,684 to 2,564 square feet under air and feature two to three bedrooms plus den, two to three-car garages, two to three-and-a-half baths and a covered lanai. Pricing for single-family homes starts at $277,900.

LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE is in its first phase including 378 home sites. Current plans call for 3,000 homes, with the possibility of a future expansion for a total of 6,900 homes at community buildout.
