Orlando, FL — June 2, 2017 – Sutton Properties, Inc. is excited to announce two new retail projects, in association with Margaritaville Holdings and Minto Communities, at Latitude Margaritaville. The new 55-and-better communities are located in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The Daytona Beach community is currently under construction, with 3,000 residences, and a future proposed expansion of up to 7,000 homes. Sutton Properties is pre-leasing a total of 200,000 square feet of retail space at the entrance to Latitude Margaritaville on LPGA Blvd, just west of Interstate 95. The first phase will include a supermarket, along with neighborhood and festive retail tenants, including one of Margaritaville’s signature restaurant concepts.
Recently announced as the second location for Latitude Margaritaville is Hilton Head, where Margaritaville Holdings and Minto Communities will be building more than 3,000 homes on a spacious 2,739-acres. Sutton Properties acquired 72 acres for a three phase, mixed-use development. Phase one will be located on Highway 278 at the community entrance located in the City of Hardeeville, between Interstate 95 and Hilton Head Island. Supermarket anchored, the project will blend neighborhood retail and services with festive retail tenants, including a signature Margaritaville restaurant concept. Phase two includes a hotel opportunity, followed by a mixed-use town center at the heart of the community.
